Tartu's premiere performance venue is every bit the cultural hotspot it has been since moving into this massive structure in 1967. Vanemuine is a 'theatre' in the broadest possible sense, staging operas, ballets, dramas, modern dance performances and musicals in addition to drama. The same building is home to the Vanemuine Concert Hall.
