Located on Promenade des Anglais, Parc Phoenix is a huge 7-hectare park that sits on the west side of Nice. Over twenty gardens here are themed and showcase over 2,500 species of plants. There is also a greenhouse that has six tropical climates, making it one of the largest in Europe. Visitors can also enjoy watching birds and ducks swimming in the lake found at the park. The rest of the park is filled with exotic birds that hover on top of trees and bring colour to the green vegetation. Similarly, iguanas and caimans have a huge presence here. Visitors to Nice usually go to this park to relax and watch birds while enjoying a picnic.
