Freedom Square (Trg Slobode) is the epicentre of everyday life in Trebinje, a hustling and bustling square of trade, conversation and all the other things that keep a city of this size moving from day to day. Cafe after cafe rule the roost on the northern edge, while the south has a run of buildings that hide the park waiting behind. Trees dominate the scene, while the Jovan Dučić-financed Monument to the Liberators is also found here.
