Museum of Modern Art

Inside the superb Pałac Opatów (Eng: Abbots' Palace), of which the oldest parts date back to the 15th century but which owes its present look to a splendid Rococo overhaul in the mid-18th century, the Museum of Modern Art houses works by more than 140 post-WWII Polish artists. Recently re-opened after a short period of renovation, their schedule also includes temporary exhibitions as well as hosting concerts of early and contemporary music, readings, symposia and meetings with artists.
