Sołdek

The first steamship built in Polish Gdańsk after 1945 at what was to become the Lenin Shipyards, the Sołdek has been turned into a living museum. Launched in 1948 this old ship was an ore collier before retiring to become a museum ship and just about every inch of it can be accessed from the cramped engine room to the bridge to the pokey little cabins the crews lived in. Note that in winter the museum ship may be closed due to weather.
Museum time: 1 hour

NOTE on Ticket Prices:
Keep in mind that combined tickets are available for the Maritime Museum (Main Branch) Granary Buildings, Sołdek ship museum, and the Maritime Cultural Centre, plus the ferry over the Motława for 64/48zł (the same package without the Maritime Cultural Centre's interactive exhibition is 47/35zł).
