The exhibition features Roman Morawski's photographs documenting the construction and the later development of the Gdynia harbour. His photographs are not only a documentation of the harbour itself but also of the everyday lives of Gdynia inhabitants. The artist documented the first 10 years of Gdynia following its "marriage to the Baltic Sea" in 1920, documenting the city's transformation from the fishing village into the important seaport city. The opening of the exhibition will take place on the 29th of November at the Museum of the City of Gdynia.
