The Foxes, Berlin's handball team, is part of an old West Berlin sports club, and now plays home matches in Prenzlauer Berg's Max-Schmelling-Halle. After promotion in 2007, the Foxes were able to establish themselves firmly in the league and developed into a top team in the league from 2010 onwards.
