Ever wonder how people travel back and forth across the harbour? Four large elevators inside the dome-shaped building at Landungsbrücken travel 24 meters below the Elbe to ferry people and cars back and forth. The tunnel was created in 1911 and still serves its original purpose. Free for pedestrians.
