Every grand palace needs a greenhouse for the artificial cultivation of tropical plants, right? Wilhelmshöhe is no different, but what sets this greenhouse apart is the attention to detail that was paramount during its construction. Greenhouses are by nature practical things, built specifically to do a job and little else, but the one found next to the Schloss Wilhelmshöhe is as beautiful outside as it was functional on the inside. A walk through the house is a must, as is taking about a thousand pictures of it from the outside. The greenhouse is closed during summer.
