Zoo Leipzig

Although its most famous star is still the old Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer lion, Leipzig's zoo has distinguished itself today as one of the world’s most progressive zoos. All animal environments are made as natural as possible, endangered species are raised with remarkable success and the world’s largest apehouse, Pongoland, has everyone from primatologists to primary school children bouncing off the walls.
