Schloss Solitude

The former pleasure palace and gardens of the Duke Carl Eugen were built between 1764-1775. There's a fine restaurant and café here, museum with the original interior and furnishings, as well as an academia for young artists. Don't miss the spectacular view from the terrace over the valley leading to Ludwigsburg and the arcade axis. Get here on bus no.92.
