Globaltica World Cultures Festival is a one of a kind music event. It creates a unique platform for the exchange of ideas performed in a creative and tolerant atmosphere. The festival explores ethnic themes and inspirations in contemporary culture. The leading theme of the festival is the search for unity and universal harmony common to all humanity.
The festival is best known for its incredible international music line-up, and music is, indeed, the common denominator. However, there are 3 other 'zones' in operation: The Mind Power Zone hosts workshops and meetings with interesting individuals (reporters, artists, activists etc.); The Cinema Globaltica program screens films about documenting endangered communities, marginalized groups, vanishing lifestyles displaced by globalization, biographies of musicians, and more. The Festival Town is a market area of local artisans, arts and crafts, music and literary publishers, as well as local foundations and initiatives, and plenty of food from all corners of the world.
