We're admittedly pho snobs since it's one of our favourite things to eat, so just because we find Pho Vietnam a bit underwhelming doesn't mean most people will – in fact, it's got fairly high marks from the public at large. The biggest black mark in our book, other than just not tasting like Vietnamese pho should taste, was the missing accoutrement, namely the requisite plate piled with bean sprouts, Thai basil and lime that diners add themselves to taste before tucking in. However, if you value large portions, generous amounts of beef and low prices over authenticity, or are just looking for a serviceable bite before catching a movie at Australia Fair, then Pho Vietnam will do the trick.
