Purling Brook Falls

Springbrook National Park, Springbrook     more than a year ago

The scenery at the Purling Brook Falls is spectacular! In fact, if you go and see the canyons steep cliffs and water cascading more than 100 metres and tell us you’re not impressed, you'll get a full refund for this description. The Falls are beautiful year round, when its dry a trickle dances over them and creates a rainbow against the cliffs, while after heavy rain a torrent crashes into the valley below filling it with an enchanting mist. It’s an easy walk to the lookout on the edge of the cliffs presenting stunning views of the falls - we just hope you’re not afraid of heights - or else a round trip walk down into the canyon to view the falls from below takes about 2-3 hours or longer if you add on a swim at the Warringa Pool.
