A modern, upmarket take on that hole-in-the-wall souvlaki place you remember eating at during those few sweaty summer days that you spent in Athens on your gap year travels long ago. The Lamb Shop may only have a one page menu, but the focus here is on quality. and you already know what you're ordering anyway. There's also a handful of diverse starters, or bar snacks, to choose from (for our money the grilled octopus is tasty, while the hand-cut chips are underwhelming). Hidden on a small side street just south of the Oasis Shopping Centre, the sign for its next-door neighbour Social Eating House is easier to spot.
