Situated in the 18th century building that used to be owned by East India Company, the Museum of Gothenburg offers many exciting exhibitions about the history of these lands. Here you can learn how people udes to live here 12,000 years ago and see the only exhibited Viking ship in Sweden, called Äskekärrsskeppet, as well as many other interesting things, and there is also the Children’s Museum - play room for the kids, along with a shop, restaurant and a cafe.
