If you'd like some privacy on your trip to Schiermonnikoog, you might consider taking a water taxi. Although a bit pricey (€110 for one person, €55 per person for two or more), you'll get to Schier in 15 minutes instead of the usual 45 minutes with the ferry. A reservation is required. A maximum of 12 people can take the taxi at one time.
