An impressive building with a lighthouse-like tower perched on the roof is home to the Museum for Hamburg History. Focusing on the development of the city and its harbour, everyday life and culture, it has a great collection of artefacts, scale models, house interiors and even the complete facade of the 1605 St. Petrichurch, all illustrating the spectacular rise of Hamburg.
