Hampton by Hilton Gdansk Old Town

A brand new-build on the main pedestrian street in the Old Town which stands on the site of the former Kino Neptun. There are a lot of cinema references throughout the hotel with pieces of the old cinema used to provide decoration and a historic reference to the cinema which stood here and entertained generations of locals. This is an excellent choice for those who want to experience living in the heart of old Gdańsk and the Hampton brand gives you excellent value for money. Of particular note are the family rooms which are extremely spacious with decent sized beds; the sound-proofed windows which guarantee peace and quiet despite you being in the heart of the old town and the rooms which come with balcony terraces looking out at the rooftops of the old town, St Mary's Basilica and the Town Hall. There is also a small cinema in the cellars to ensure that while the main cinema may have gone, it is not forgotten. Recommended.
