The main bus station, Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof, or ZOB (tel. 166 80), is located behind the Hauptbahnhof. A hot spot for some of the city's less fortunate, resist coming here alone at night. Several local buses stop here, as do a few long-distance coach carriers. No long distance coach services are available for destinations in Germany, thanks to the near monopoly held by DB. Bus destinations include Cannes, Paris, London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Bologna, Krakow, Prague, Moscow, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Barcelona and Madrid.
