Marktkirche

  Hanns-Lilje-Platz 2     more than a year ago
Along with the Old Town Hall next door, the Market Church is considered to be the southernmost specimen of the northern German neo-Gothic style. Built in the 14th century and partially destroyed during the Second World War, the Marktkirche was rebuilt in 1952. General Johann Michael von Obentraut, hero of the Thirty Years War, is buried here.
