  Mannerheimintie 34      +358 295 33 6000     more than a year ago
Want to see rural Finland in miniature and discover how Finns used to live centuries ago? Then visit the lovely open-air museum on the island of Seurasaari, just a few kilometres from central Helsinki! Only open in summer, it is the largest open-air museum in Finland, with about 90 wooden manors, cottages and farms from all over the country dating back to the 17th century. An enchanting place to get to know the traditional Finnish way of life a bit more intimately; enjoy the peaceful outdoor rural atmosphere on a nice, summer day; and admire the beautiful colours of the season!
