Not a classic restaurant per se, but Hungarians seem to love going for lunch at the local butcher’s. This isn’t going to be the place to visit with your vegetarian compadres, but you’ll struggle to find better meat in Debrecen than at the Kurucz Butchery & Roast in the centre of town.
