Blue Bird Café

This was the last stop on a tour with our Italian friend Alessandro, on a quest to find coffee in Budapest that his clients would consider "buono". Turned out we'd saved the best for last. The hand roasted coffee here is unimpeachable. If you fancy a snack, their sandwiches and salads are just the thing for a light lunch in the sunny courtyard or cheerful cobalt blue accented interior. Nice to see some quality and individuality midst the Gozsdu's gimmickry and chain establishments (spare us another Pointer pub, please). A quiet achiever this one, but we like that.
