The Fogasház sign with its retro looking dentures that hung here for decades was once signage for a dentist, a 'house of teeth', and its own quiet way, something of a 7th district landmark. These days Fogasház is one of the neighbourhood’s better ruin pubs. It’s also home to an artists collaborative, and cultural space with regular exhibitions. It's a sprawling, likeably ramshackle place with all sorts of nooks and crannies, including a screening room and outdoor courtyards to keep the smokers happy. It has capacity for 2-300 people, and on busy nights, fills up like a Hungarian complaint box.
