Far and away the best, and best value Chinese restaurant in town, and up until this review perhaps, a secret well kept within Budapest's Chinese community. Terrific steamed dumplings, hand made noodles, Peking duck; the works essentially, and waiters that are commendably patient with whatever combination of Chinese, Hungarian and English you place your order. Beers you don't have to ask for, just grab one from the fridge downstairs - there's an honesty system in place. To get there is something of a schlepp. You take 10 stops on the number 28 tram from Blaha Lujza tér to Mázsa utca, then walk to the Monori shopping centre (an Asian market). On that basis, it'd be a fairly unlikely choice for anyone just in town for a few days, but for long term expatriates, it's a real find. Hey, you're welcome.
