Nobu Budapest

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's global empire of fine sushi served in luxurious surroundings saw the addition of Nobu Budapest a couple of years back. Robert DeNiro, one of the original investors even made it for the opening. He's left, but the Nouveau Riche are still here, smart phones stacked on the table in front of them. The food is Asian fusion (anyone for tuna tacos?) as well as Asian haute cuisine but both are reliably good and pricey. Service is attentive, maybe overly so, some staff have a habit of removing plates before everyone has finished their course, which is a pet quibble of ours.
