Escape the blazing midsummer heat, or for that matter the winter chill, by stepping into this calm and relaxing shrine to South East Asian tea-drinking - and serenity. Three different rooms - the Orchid Room, Wunderkammer and Collector's Corner are decorated with Chinese and Indochinese furniture and relics - literally relics, as you can find shipwreck, coral covered porcelain among the treasures. Located downstairs from the Gold Museum, you can visit the tea house independent of that institution. More soothing than a Xanax, and probably better for you.
