Statue Park

Hidden far enough from the city centre not to give the locals nightmares but close enough to attract those with an interest in communist history and sculpture, this small gravel park contains 20 - 30 of the inspiring or imposing - depending on your perspective - statues that until 1989 decorated Budapest to remind people who was in charge. Take the Red Bus 7 from Ferenciek tere to Etele tér and then the Volán bus to Diósd-Érd. You can also take the direct bus to Szobor Park.
