"I feel like I'm in a Martin Scorsese movie," a friend told us when we were drinking here. We can see where he's coming from. Partly owned by Huey Morgan of the Fun Loving Criminals and slightly off the beaten track (a little bit west of the city centre), the interior does look and sound like a set from a New York movie - with its dark painted walls and decidedly American music selection from The Ronettes to Buddy Holly to The Pixies. You'll find some punky, funky and eccentric-types here, but mostly just those who like good tunes and a slightly different kind of pub. Dimly-lit with nice beers too.
