Beautifully located right on the River Reuss, the Jesuitenkirche or Jesuit Church of St. Francis Xavier is one of the most magnificent Baroque churches in Switzerland. While it is very pleasing from outside along the river promenade, the rich, unchanged interior in pink and white is what really takes your breath away. Completed in 1677, the two towers were added in 1893.
