Built in the early 20th century, this building housed a Jewish library and religious school, plus various offices and apartments for Poznań's Jewish community. A menorah can be seen on the first floor balcony, and it is one of the few buildings in this area that still has a mezuzah next to the door. Today Poznań's very small Jewish community continues to organise commemorative events and historical exhibits around the city from their offices in this building. Prayer services take place on Friday evenings and sometimes Saturday mornings; check times on their website or contact them by email via poznan@jewish.org.pl for other information.
