This four-star hotel boasts a total of 168 rooms, and is popular with corporate travellers who generally visit during the week, while leisure guests tend to fill the place on weekends.

All rooms are equipped with king-size beds, air conditioning, and sleek, matte black finishes, giving them a modern and stylish touch. While some have feature showers only, the four executive suites offer the added luxury of both a shower and a bath. Each of the 151 queen suites, or studios, are a spacious and elegant retreat designed as both cosy and functional spaces. The six junior suites provide an affordable, luxurious experience, complete with a dining area, an adjoining small sitting area, and an enviable double shower. Green thinking and eco-friendliness is a part of the ethos here, and the hotel avoids the use of plastic by providing biodegradable amenities. The commitment to the environment is refreshing, evident in every aspect of the hotel, which received a Green Star 4-star Custom Design certified rating from the Green Building Council of South Africa in February 2021. The hotel features a wide variety of conferencing facilities including three spacious rooms that can accommodate up to 120 people, a small video-conferencing room and a spacious co-working area, available for both corporate hire by the day or for guests seeking a productive work environment.

The Highline offers stunning panoramic views of Johannesburg in almost every direction, from the Magaliesburg mountains to the city and Sandton skyline. A unique aspect of the hotel is a branch of Skin Renewal located on the ground floor, who offer a range of non-surgical skin treatments. This allows guests, including international visitors, to indulge in rejuvenating treatments during their stay. The charges for these services can conveniently be billed to your room. To ramp up the relaxation and pampering experience, Skin Renewal also offers nail services and massages, providing guests with the opportunity to unwind after a long day of work, exploring the city or after a long journey. 

Be sure to stop by the gorgeous Protea restaurant, which is named after the mural created by artist Carl Maritz from Space Alchemy. The à la carte restaurant is open to the public, and serves up a morning buffet that makes for a delicious start to the day. The saltwater pool and sun-soaked patio provides a refreshing escape. You can also enjoy the benefits of being outside in the Club Lounge, which can accommodate up to 24 people, and is popular for special events, pre-conference breakfasts, baby showers, and high tea. The Club Lounge also has facilities that offer wireless connections to a TV screen for presentations or entertainment.

If you are looking to stay active, the hotel features a small gym equipped with treadmills, weight machines and other exercise equipment. Lockers with electronic blinds ensure the safety and privacy of guests' belongings, while showers allow for a quick refresh after a workout.
