Thirsty Nelly’s

  Steinstr. 19      +49 631 89 22 59     more than a year ago
Slightly more upmarket and expensive Irish bar, Nelly’s is one seven establishments round Germany from O’Dwyer’s. Great quiz, karaoke, U2 and ladies nights attract a full house, as does the general drinking ethos and big screen. Friendly alcoholic fun with Pork Scratchings, Walkers and toasties to stave off hunger.

Back in 1996 to 98 I was on tour in the army, I knew a man that had a special bottle of Evan Williams up on the top shelf. I worked with him at The Way Up briefly on a new years night, we drank here at Thirsty Nelly's and made our way to Vogelway, and would party all night long. I loved Thirsty Nelly's and would like to know if Evan is still around. I would like to thank you for your wonderful hospitality while I was in beautiful of Germany right smack in K-Town. With love danke, und bitte.
