Kutuzov monument

Ul. Kutuzova     more than a year ago
Having already named a street after Mikhail Kutuzov, the great 18th/19th century Russian commander who is probably best known for his role in repelling Napoleon's attempted invasion in 1812, the local Kaliningrad authorities commissioned sculptor M.K. Anikushinaa to adorn it with this bronze statue. It was formally presented in 1995, 150 years after his birth in Saint Petersburg.
