  Nepriklausomybės Aikštė 12      (+370) 37 22 28 53     more than a year ago
Showcasing art from the collection of the late Mykolas Žilinskas (1904-1992) alongside other works, find both applied and fine art from Europe and Asia from the 17th to the 20th centuries including some exquisite Flemish tapestries, Japanese porcelain, a splendid Crucifixion by Rubens that might not be a Rubens and a room full of antiquities from ancient Egypt. Keep an eye out for the gorgeous decorative plate from 1926 by the Latvian artist Romans Suta (1896-1944) and Leonardo Coccorante’s (1680-1750) moody painting On the Coast of the Stormy Sea as you go round.
