U Kohúta is that mythical mix of mainstream and hidden, an expansive beer garden found on Hrnčiarska that gets pretty darn busy during the warm months, the lure of crisp beer and a wide variety of meaty dishes too much to resist for many of the Košice faithful. This is also one of the city’s premier Pilsner Urquell pubs, if you’re looking for a premium Czechoslovak experience. Please don’t shout at us for using that term.
