Kraków's first musical theatre puts on productions of the song-and-dance 'variete', mostly lighthearted, and unfortunately only in Polish (though some performances are subtitled). Located in the former cinema that dates back to 1938, the building has been restored to its pre-war splendour, and in addition to musicals also hosts occasional concerts and other events.
