A great number of large and small islands, channels and inflows, beaches and bays are at your disposal. The Dnipro is deep and wide, and sometimes very rapid, which is why sometimes one really needs to struggle with the oars. This legendary boating station is located within the yacht-club Frigate. Although the row boats and peddle catamarans are not in the best state, you can still have a whale of a time! Price is 30Hr per hour. You may be asked to leave your passport as a deposit.
Getting there Take the red metro line from the centre to Hidropark. From the metro exit turn left and go about one hundred meters. Turn left down one of the roads going parallel to the metro line. When you get to the water, you are there. (See the boat sign on our city map p. 57).
