Located on one of Kyiv’s tourist traps (Sahaidachnoho vul.), this restaurant offers hearty Ukrainian and European meals at surprisingly affordable prices. There’s a touch of mama’s kitchen in both the flavour of the meals and the ambiance. Highlights on the menu include veal with grilled veggies, beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes and pork on the bone. This is a great choice for banquets - there happened to be a small wedding party going on while we were there. For desert we had a cappuccino (the biggest cup in Kyiv) and tiramisu (hands down the tastiest in Kyiv).
