Verbne is very popular with locals. The beaches aren’t so clean in some areas and the lake water can be slimy. There is a boat rental and areas for walking and fishing on the housing unit side of the lake. On the opposite side there is a long line of beaches separated by landscaping. The road is a mere 50 metres from the lake, but the further you walk from the road the better. You’ll find an abundance of comfortable picnic areas in the forest area.
Getting there: from Petrivka metro head to the north side of Moscovskyi Prospect and walk 15 minutes towards the Moskovs’kyi Bridge.
