The cheeky, middle-aged owner of this Latvian café on two floors hasn’t, as locals would say, ‘fallen on his mouth’ and could consequently sell sand to an Arab. Order huge servings of potato pancakes, sausages and pork schnitzels inside or take advantage of its excellent outdoor terrace surrounded by plants and flowers in the summer. A delicious Užavas draught will also be quite cheap.
