Although it’s slightly odd that you have to enter an Italian restaurant to reach this elegant Georgian restaurant, simply take the stairs to the second floor and you’ll be rewarded with chandeliers, white tablecloths, parquet floors, views of Old Riga and large black and white photographs of exotic mountains and peasants in funny hats. Enjoy the authentic hospitality for which the Georgians are so rightfully famous while digging into delicious homemade khinkali (meat dumplings), shashliks (grilled meat), hearty soups and the best khachapuri (an open spinach and cheese pie) we’ve ever had. Excellent wines are also brought to your table from its own glass encased wine room.
