Part pub and part café, the oddly named Burga (a reference to the fraternity upstairs) is located in a modern glass building and has a dark grey interior and light hardwood floors with matching tables. You can order anything from chicken wings, pastas and burgers to breakfast food including bagels. Serving sizes are generous, especially the huge salads, which are definitely a meal here and not an appetiser. Valmiermuiža and Tērvetes brews are available on draught or you can take your pick of cocktails from classic mai tais to cosmopolitans.
