Despite the lofty name, this is actually a down-to-earth bar in Old Riga with an interior so unique it has to be seen to be believed. Part collectibles museum and part pub, McNamara’s is (according to its owner) the place for anyone who never got their dream gift at Christmas as a child. A shrine to movie and comic book heroes, this so-called Drinking Emporium has a life-sized Han Solo (frozen in Carbonite no less), He-Man action figures hanging from the ceiling, a creepy Terminator head and torso, a Red Son arcade game, a bar covered in comics and even a glass table with a special DeLorean inside (flux-capacitor included). The memorabilia is too abundant to mention here, but if you want to relive a childhood you probably never had with a tasty beer or some top-shelf booze, this is the place. Outdoor terrace available.
