Walk down a dead end alley and you’ll be rewarded with a charming café with brick walls and medieval wooden timber ceilings that specialises in delicious desserts, mellow jazz and a, what’s the word, romantic ambience that can’t be beat. Salads and sandwiches are also on hand as well as wine and cocktails, but beware of the organically brewed soft drinks that only Norwegian tourists and crooked politicians from the nearby Parliament can afford.
