Although there’s plenty of low-end graffiti surrounding the picturesque Ziedoņdārzs in the 19th-century working-class neighbourhood of Grīziņkalns, an outstanding example of street art can be found by one of the entrances to the park on Sparģeļu iela. The top half of the wooden building’s wall is now home to a big hairy rat that appears to be wrapped up in string or wire. It’s odd, to say the least, but definitely intriguing.
