The Catch

The Catch brings the best of Japan to Riga, but without any pretension and without the chain-style ambience of commercial sushi restaurants. This family-run business offers sushi and sashimi, meals cooked on a robata grill, tempura dishes, ramen soups and other ‘bowls’ as well as Japanese beer and signature cocktails. The crunchy sea bass truffle was excellent as was the tofu bowl and the matcha tea ice cream was the perfect finale to the evening. Take a seat at the bar, in the window niche or under colourful murals of mermaids deeper inside this trendy, yet casual half-basement. Reservations recommended.
