Fantastic name, to start. The Queen O’ T’owd Thatch is one of the city’s great pubs, especially if pub grub is your thing, and if it isn’t your thing then we aren’t sure what to tell you. The pub actually won ‘Best Sunday Lunch’ in the 2018 Observer awards, a well-earned award and then some, although there are plenty of other things to get excited about on this chock-a-block menu. This is just about as good as British pub food gets.
