While we’d gladly sell our souls to never have to see the phrase ‘traditional yet modern’ ever again, it also happens to be quite an apt description of Leeds restaurant The Whitehall. British food has come on leaps and bounds in recent times and a lot of that is down to places like The Whitehall, imaginative restaurants that aren’t afraid to take those old dishes and imbue them with a modern class and charm. Traditional yet modern, indeed.
